Friday Nights

Friday nights are the designated "fun" nights at our house.  No school or church the next day so we relax on bedtime and let the kids stay up late.  We often let them have little sleepovers in each others rooms or in the family room.  We do family movie nights, roast smores around the fire, and play family games.  Sometimes we plan mommy and daddy dates with individual kids where we let them pick a treat and watch a movie with just mommy or daddy.  Friday nights have really helped us bond as a family over the last several months.  My kids have been extra needy since the move and new baby and Friday night fun nights have been a great way for us to give them some extra attention that they need.

Now if we could just find a babysitter here in Utah so we could get back to Saturday night dates we would be all set. :)
