We kept things very simple for Easter this year. We used our new come follow me manual
to discuss the events leading up to Jesus Christ's Resurrection. We loved
having it as our guide and it kept our lessons sweet and simple. On Friday
nights we do a fun family night each week. The kids rotate on whose turn
it is to pick the activity for the family. The Friday before Easter
Declin chose for us to dye Eggs. Saturday we went to a community egg hunt
in Evanston, WY while we visited family. Then on Sunday the Easter bunny
found our house and left some fun gifts. This year he left us flip flops,
water wow books and candy. He was also nice and left the whole family a
soft baseball bat and a family game.

Spring Soccer Season 2019
Jensen has had another fun soccer season. This time we were here in Utah instead of Idaho. We originally felt like life was busy enough that McKay did not want to coach his team. But of course they call you asking for volunteers and they caught me on a good day and I said yes... for McKay to coach, not me. So McKay coached his team and I juggled 4 other kids at the park.
We saw improvement from Jensen this year and you could tell he felt more comfortable on the field. He made a few goals this season and really enjoyed being with his team. I really enjoyed watching Jensen do something that he loves and is excited about. Go Green Ninjas!

Spring Break 2019
Since we are fairly new to having kids in school I kind of keep forgetting about spring break. I feel like it has really snuck up on me each year and so we never have anything that awesome planned.
But despite my lack of planning we did have a wonderful spring break this year that I think the kids really enjoyed.
We started off spring break by having a lunch and park date with cousins. I am always so grateful that our kids have cousins their age. I love watching them play and it is amazing how fast everyone is growing up. They will all be teenagers before we know it. I especially love that Adalyn has girl cousins her age. It seems for us there is no shortage of little boys in the neighborhood to play with, but not a ton of girls.
After the cousin playdate we headed over to the hill air Force Base museum with my parents and Corinne and kids. We toured around toddler style (meaning we just walked around and trying to keep kids out of the displays). Mckay met us there after work which was fun and then we all headed back to our house for a picnic dinner. That we ate in the kitchen since we were hungry and lazy by that point. 😊
Tuesday we headed up to Kamas, UT to drop off Addie and Jensen at Dayton's house for a cousin sleepover. They went swimming, played with the dogs and saw farm animals while they were there. At home we enjoyed the slow life with just the little ones and got a few naps in.
Thursday evening I took Addie and her neighbor friend McCall on a girls night. We went to the mall and bought a little toy from Claire's and then had a treat. These girls were SO excited to be hanging out at the mall together. 😁

Saturday was general conference which is such a treat to relax and enjoy time with family.
Sunday we got together with my family for general conference and a early Easter egg hunt in the backyard.
