It is Great to Be Eight

Addie Turned 8 on August 10, 2019.  Our first 8 year old.  My biggest baby.  :) 8 years old is big deal in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day staints.  We thought a lot about what we wanted to do for the special occasion and how we wanted our family to celebrate it.  We decided to have the baptism day be the focus.  We decided to do a small celebration on her birthday with the family.

On her birthday we had dinner (Addie chose hotdogs for dinner), cheesecake for dessert, and Grandma and Grandpa Cannon came over for presents and dinner.  Addie chose to have a Jojo siwa party so of course we ended the party with a dance party.

Addie loves parties and presents so she was in heaven with all of the little kids attention and all the special treats. Addie got new dress-ups and a hatchimal.

Adalyn is such a light to everyone around her.  She has a natural ability to help those around her and help them feel loved and happy.  She is bright and naturally great at school (even if she always says she doesn't love being there).  She loves unicorns, fairies, princesses, and magic.  Lately she has been enjoying making up songs and putting on performances.  She is taking piano lessons and swimming lessons.  She loves girly movies and putting on makeup.  She never complains and is quick to help with babies.  Addie loves bagels with cream cheese, grandma's waffle recipe, cheesecake, and cereal.  Addie we love you!
