Friday night Adalyn had her first little dance recital. It was a fun little Christmas performance at the Kids Craft Fair. They didn't have costumes or anything, but it was a good chance for the little dancers to experience being on a stage and performing. Adalyn LOVED performing for everyone. It was adorable! She was all sass and added in a lot of hip shaking with each dance move. Haha!

Her class performed two dances- one ballet dance to Suzy Snowflake and one tap dance to Frosty the Snowman. Her teacher is just the sweetest lady with the girls and Adalyn loves all the attention that she gets each time she goes to class. I can't wait to see her spring recital!
Saturday I got to go to my Zumba toning class. It has been forever since I have been able to go to the Saturday class and it felt SO good to be back to my exercise routine this week. My workout buddy (who had her baby 3 weeks before I had Magnolia) came too and it is always a treat to have girl time and get a workout in all at the same time.
Saturday afternoon we went to McKay's work Children's party. It is a lot of fun for the kids to pick out toys, make crafts, eat pizza and cookies, and visit with Santa. Jensen was the only one that sat on Santa's lap even after they had all been talking about how excited they were to see him all week. But Adalyn did made sure to tell him that she wanted makeup for Christmas. Santa is still trying to decide if makeup will be allowed this year or not... Jensen asked Santa for another play sword.
Saturday evening McKay and I went out on a date. Magnolia tagged along with us. Originally McKay was going to plan the date, his options were... movie, a play, ice skating, rock climbing, etc. In the end we decided to just go with dinner and shopping since they were the best options to do with a 6 week old baby. Maybe in a few months we will be more adventurous with our date nights.
The older kids had a great time playing with our favorite babysitter, Leslie while we went on our date. They painted nails and made snowflakes. The best part was that they were all asleep when we got home! Yay!
We finished off the night with a little photo shoot of Magnolia and I to celebrate her being 6 weeks old. Then we watched The Intern on Vidangel (loved the guy in the movie, too sweet!).
