All the holidays in 2020 have looked different then normal. No large gatherings, big parties, or big events. We have been able to keep a few fun traditions with each holiday, but the focus really has been family time and food. This year for Halloween we took photos in matching shirts, went to a farm/corn maze with grandma and grandpa Cannon, carved a few pumpkins that we got at the grocery store and our backyard, and still had our Cannon family Halloween party (although I think technically we were not supposed to).
We had originally planned to not go trick or treating on Halloween mostly because we didn't really think that many of our neighbors would end up going out plus we had a new baby that was about to come home from the NICU and we didn't want to add more germs to our house. But when Halloween night rolled around lots of neighbors showed up and were out trick or treating we gave in and decided to join them. We went up and down a long street by our house and it felt SO good to be out and about with neighbors. Such a fun night!
Here are the kids costumes for 2020. They each got to choose their own costumes and they had so much fun coming with each one. Addie was a vampire princess, Jensen was an Alien, Declin was Bumblebee the Transformer, Big Sis was Mal from the Descendants movie, Mr. J was a ninja turtle, Magnolia was The Flash, Little A was a Butterfly, Rockwell was baby shark, and baby girl wore her "My First Halloween" bib in the NICU.
