Winter Break

We have a very love/hate relationship with winter break this year.  One it is fun to relax, but on the other hand our kids thrive on routine.  I was worried about how we would spend our days at home ALL day while McKay went to work.  Luckily McKay ended up taking enough days off of work to help us survive and the kids were fairly well distracted by their new toys.  That doesn't mean we weren't thrilled when the break was over and routine started back up.  

Here are a few of the happenings that went on while the kids were out of school... 

I took Addie on a mommy/daughter date.  We went to the trampoline park and to get cheesecake (her favorite).  

We were given year-long passes to the Treehouse museum so I took the 6 older kids there one day to check it out.  

We went sledding a few times and cleaned up Christmas decor. 

Our "middle kids" played Paw Patrol 24/7.  Their favorite toys these days.   

Winter Break we love you even if you feel weird sometimes.
