Magnolia's 2nd Brithday!

Magnolia turned 2 on October 22.  Baby girl you are growing up (McKay wonders when I am going to stop calling her baby... I don't know, she is still my baby.)

Her birthday was on a Monday so we waited until after work to start the party.

Once daddy got home from work we headed to Kangaroo Zoo (a inflatable bounce house place).  Corinne and Solomon met us there.  We were the only ones there most of the time ( the perks of it being a Monday afternoon) so the kids had their pick of any and all of the inflatables.  The kids enjoyed getting their wiggles out.  They  really loved it when McKay got involved and started chasing all of them around the bounce houses.  Oh how those kids love daddy's attention.  Corinne and I fed babies... like always. haha!

Later we had dinner at our house (Magnolia's favorite: breakfast burritos) and then presents and cupcakes.

One thing I want to remember about this party is how much Magnolia loved opening her presents.  It was so entertaining for all of us watching.  Her eyes would get big with each present and she was SO excited about each item.  She loved everything and immediately tried things on and started rocking on her new horse and holding her new baby.  It was awesome to see her genuinely excited about her birthday.

Her party was a "little witch" theme with purple and black decor since she was born so close to Halloween.  I loved how her cupcakes turned out and they were super easy!  Nola we love you and are happy to have a two year old in the house.  Happy Birthday!

Here are a few facts about Nola:

Her favorite people are probably Jensen, Addie and Solomon followed closely by Grandma and Mykelti.
She can be mean.  Yep I said it, watch out if you get on her bad side.
She loves baby dolls and animals.
She doesn't talk much, but somehow she lets you know what she needs.  Lots of grunting involved
She has the cutest little curls in her hair
She is daddy's helper and wants to be right in the middle of any project that he is working on.
She has a cute little walk that she does where she swings her arms and asks like she is the boss of the world.
She is a great eater and pretty much eats all the foods my other kids don't like.  Spicy foods and foods with lots of flavor are her favorites.  She is not a big sweets lover.
She semi likes nursery, but only after she screams for a few minutes.  Always screams for mom as I am leaving.
For a girl who was a super chill and calm baby she has TONS of sass as a two year old.  Night and day difference.
We simply adore her!
